The Role
A secondary school in Solihull is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join its science department from September 2026 on a long-term supply basis.
The successful candidate will teach Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students’ scientific knowledge, practical skills, curiosity, and understanding. You will support students in making strong progress while preparing them for their GCSE Science qualifications.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will uphold high expectations for behaviour and achievement while encouraging students to develop a genuine interest in science.
The Candidate
- Hold QTS or be an ECT
- Have experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
- Be confident delivering the secondary Science curriculum
- Have strong classroom management and organisational skills
