Pay: andpound;160 - andpound;240 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role:
Supply Desk is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Southampton to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher. The position begins in September 2025 and will run until December 2025, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role for the right candidate.
The successful applicant will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, joining a supportive and collaborative Science department. This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators. The school is also open to applications from unqualified teachers with relevant classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and inclusive Science lessons that inspire curiosity and promote scientific thinking.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives.
Maintain a positive classroom environment and uphold high standards of behaviour.
Take part in school life, including extracurricular activities where appropriate.
