Prospero Teaching is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to support the learning of pupils in one of our forward-thinking Secondary Schools in Southampton on a full-time, long-term basis. About the Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging, informative lessons that spark curiosity and promote digital literacy
- Stretch and challenge learners of all abilities, fostering computational thinking and problem-solving skills
- Build strong relationships with pupils and support staff to create a collaborative learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour in a consistent, positive manner
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils
- Use varied assessment methods to monitor progress and inform future planning
- Display high levels of enthusiasm, energy, and professionalism in the classroom
- Work effectively with Teaching Assistants and colleagues to ensure students receive the best possible educational experience

Pay, Hours and Contract:
- Pay: -145200 per day (depending on experience)
- Hours: 08:30-16:00
- Contract: Full-time, Ongoing
- Start Date: ASAP
- Location: Southampton
Experience/Qualifications and Requirements:
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level in the UK
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
- Experience in planning, delivering, and assessing lessons
- Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with students and staff
- A genuine passion for technology and education
- Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service preferred, but not essential)
