Whether you''re a qualified teacher, an Early Career Teacher (ECT), or an Unqualified Teacher (UQ) looking to gain valuable classroom experience, this role offers the chance to grow and thrive within a supportive science department.
The Role:
Youandrsquo;ll become a valued member of a dynamic Science department where collaboration, creativity, and a commitment to excellence are key. You''ll deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience and subject specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support continued learning
- Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular activities such as STEM clubs, competitions, and educational visits
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Take part in staff meetings, CPD sessions, and parent engagement events
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school improvement initiatives
About You:
- A qualified teacher (QTS), ECT, or UQ with a strong academic background in a Science-related subject
- Passionate about Science education and inspiring students
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to delivering high academic standards
- Skilled in classroom management with excellent communication abilities
- Reflective and open to feedback, with a proactive approach to professional growth
