About the Role:
A successful and inclusive secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their high-performing Science department from September 2025. The role involves delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils, with the opportunity to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience and departmental needs.
You will play a key role in raising achievement in Science and fostering a love of learning in a well-resourced and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners
- Use assessment and feedback to track progress and inform planning
- Contribute to departmental planning, enrichment activities, and intervention strategies
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A degree in a Science-related field
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current curriculum
- Excellent classroom practice and commitment to inclusive education
- ECTs and experienced teachers welcome to apply
