Whether you’re a qualified teacher, Early Career Teacher (ECT), or an Unqualified Teacher (UQ) gaining valuable experience, this role offers excellent professional growth within a supportive Science department.
About the Role:Join a vibrant Science team that values collaboration, creativity, and excellence. You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your experience and subject expertise (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Support curriculum development and lead extracurricular STEM activities such as clubs, competitions, and trips
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent engagement events
- Work collaboratively to support whole-school improvement goals
- Qualified teacher (QTS), ECT, or UQ with a strong Science background
- Passionate about inspiring and motivating students in Science
- Strong subject knowledge and dedication to high academic standards
- Effective classroom management and excellent communication skills
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous professional development
