Whether youandrsquo;re an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and collaborative Science department.
About the Role
Youandrsquo;ll become part of a vibrant Science faculty that values creativity, teamwork, and excellence. Teaching will mainly cover Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to deliver Key Stage 5 depending on your specialism (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the curriculum
- Assess, track, and support pupil progress with constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular STEM opportunities (clubs, competitions, trips)
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Take part in staff development, meetings, and parent engagement
- Work collaboratively to support whole-school improvement goals
What Weandrsquo;re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher (QTS) or ECT with a strong Science background
- Passion for inspiring students in Science through engaging lessons
- Excellent subject knowledge and commitment to high academic standards
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for professional development and continuous improvement
