School Premises Assistant Bexley, Kent We re supporting a friendly school in Bexley who are looking for a reliable and hands-on Premises Assistant to join their site team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping a school safe, clean and well maintained. You ll be part of a supportive team making sure the school provides the best possible environment for its pupils and staff. Role: School Premises Assistant Location: Bexley, Kent Start Date: Immediate / ASAP Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (occasional flexibility for evening events) Pay: £16 £16 per hour (depending on experience) Key Responsibilities: Assisting with the day-to-day maintenance, security and cleanliness of the school site Carrying out basic repairs, decorating and upkeep as required Setting up rooms for assemblies, events and exams Ensuring health and safety standards are met across the site Locking/unlocking the premises and monitoring visitors as needed Requirements: Previous experience in a school, facilities or caretaking role preferred Good practical maintenance and DIY skills Awareness of health and safety procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team A valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one) If you re proactive, trustworthy and enjoy practical work that keeps things running smoothly, we d love to hear from you.
