School Kitchen Porter

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to support the day-to-day operation of a busy school kitchen in Croydon. This is a term time only role, 25 hours a week, and is a long term, ongoing assignment.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, equipment and utensilsWash dishes, trays, and catering equipment promptly during and after serviceAssist with basic food preparation (e.g. washing, peeling, portioning)Support the catering team during service period as requiredRequirementsPrevious experience in a kitchen or catering environment desirable but not essentialReliable, punctual and able to work as part of a teamAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructionsBasic understanding of food hygiene (training can be provided)Enhanced DBS If this would suit you, or someone you know, please get in touch.
