School Kitchen Assistant - SwanleyPart-Time Monday-Friday 10:00am-2:30pm ASAP StartAcademics Ltd are working with a welcoming school in Swanley who are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join their school catering team.The RoleAs a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the smooth running of the school kitchen and help ensure pupils and staff receive a high standard of food and service.Your responsibilities will include:Assisting with the preparation and serving of mealsSupporting the kitchen team with general kitchen dutiesCleaning and maintaining kitchen areas and equipmentWashing up and ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and hygienicAssisting with stock and deliveries when requiredFollowing food hygiene, health and safety and safeguarding proceduresHelping to provide a friendly and professional service to pupils and staffAbout YouThe successful candidate will ideally have:Previous experience working in a kitchen, catering or similar environmentA reliable and hardworking attitudeGood understanding of food hygiene and health and safetyThe ability to work well as part of a teamGood communication skillsExperience working within a school or similar setting is desirable but not essentialAn Enhanced DBS suitable for working in a school, or willingness to obtain oneThe DetailsLocation: SwanleyHours: 10:00am-2:30pm, Monday-FridayStart: ASAPPay: From 14.50 per hourSetting: SchoolDBS: Enhanced DBS requiredThis is a great opportunity for someone looking for a ..... full job details .....
