Spencer from Simply Education is currently recruiting for a School Caretaker to join a welcoming secondary school in Banbury on an initial 10-week temporary booking, starting as soon as possible.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work within a school environment, with full training provided. You will join an established premises team and work alongside three other members of staff, supporting the smooth day-to-day running and upkeep of the school site.

• Supporting the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the school site
• Carrying out general caretaking and minor maintenance duties
• Ensuring classrooms, communal areas and outdoor spaces are safe and well maintained
• Setting up and moving furniture and equipment when required
• Carrying out basic repairs and reporting larger maintenance issues
• Supporting the wider premises team with general site duties
• Helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff
• Following school health and safety procedures

Previous experience in a caretaker, maintenance, facilities, site assistant or similar role is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
