School Caretaker / Site Manager - Secondary SchoolLocation: Tower Hamlets, East LondonHours: Full-time, 7:00am - 4:00pmStart: ASAPPay: Competitive, depending on experience Remedy Education is working with a specialist SEMH school in Tower Hamlets that is looking for an experienced, reliable and highly proactive Site Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the school premises. This is a key position within the school. You will be the main person responsible for ensuring the site is safe, secure, compliant and properly maintained, so we need someone who takes real ownership of their work. You must have excellent awareness around the building and be able to spot potential maintenance, security or health and safety issues before they become a problem. You should be confident working independently, prioritising your own workload and getting things done without needing to be constantly directed or reminded. The Role Take day-to-day responsibility for the safety, security and maintenance of the school site Carry out regular site inspections and identify maintenance or health and safety concerns Proactively spot and resolve issues around the premises Manage contractors, repairs and ongoing maintenance works Complete and maintain health and safety checks, records and site documentation Support with fire safety, emergency procedures, risk assessments and compliance Ensure entrances, exits, gates, equipment and communal areas remain safe and secure ..... full job details .....
