Scheme Project Manager

About The Role FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking experienced Project Managers to support a rail infrastructure client in the successful close-out and handover of depot-focused projects within the Crewe and Holgate/York areas. You will play a key role in bringing a portfolio of infrastructure and depot-related schemes through their final stages of delivery, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme governance requirements. Working within a complex rail environment, you will collaborate with operational teams, contractors, engineers, commercial teams, and senior stakeholders to manage project closure, handover, assurance, and final delivery activities. The role will require regular site attendance within the Crewe and Holgate areas, typically two days per week, with the remainder of the time spent working remotely. About the Role We are seeking Scheme Project Managers with rail infrastructure and depot delivery experience to support the close-out, completion, and handover of a number of active schemes. You will be responsible for overseeing the final phases of project delivery, ensuring all outstanding works, governance requirements, commercial activities, documentation, and operational handovers are completed successfully.
