Project Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a leading international engineering contractor on their Interconnect project in Drax, Yorkshire.The company is a leading provider of innovative Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Solutions, operating across the Energy, Power and Renewables, Pharma, Food and Beverage, and Data Centre sectors.With over 40 years of experience delivering projects for Irish and multinational clients, the business has a strong presence across the UK, Ireland, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.What will you be doing? Oversee construction projects from beginning to end.Coordinate all design works and interfaces with third-party stakeholders.Maintain excellent working relationships with the client from project start through to handover.Act as an ambassador with clients and all other stakeholders.Arrange and chair the handover of projects from the estimating department to the construction team.Liaise with the Project Director and Operations Director on project staffing and recruitment requirements.Ensure audits are carried out by the person responsible for site Quality Control in accordance with the design plan, where applicable.Hold weekly progress meetings with subcontractors and ensure safety and training are discussed.Maintain excellent working relationships with the client from project start-up through to project completion.
