Scheme Manager + Relief Scheme Manager Extra Care/Sheltered Schemes (Retirement Living) – A2Dominion GroupSalary: £25,526 to £30,900 per annum. Type: Permanent, Full time (35 hours per week, 9-5 Mon-Fri). Location: Viscount Court – Windsor; 25 hours + 10 hours Relief across Sheltered and Extra Care Schemes (7 in total) within Reading, Newbury and Thatcham area. Mileage paid. Health and Safety and Fire Checks - Be accountable for Health and Safety and Fire safety checks, including comprehensive, auditable records. Liaise with internal departments as necessary.Safeguarding - Identify safeguarding concerns, take swift action, monitor and report on the safety and wellbeing of customers, signpost and refer to support services where appropriate.Partnership Working - Liaise with care providers, GPs, social services, families to keep services joined up.Being the “go-to” - Be the first point of contact for residents, families, and professionals.Building and estate management - Ensure health and safety, security, and cleanliness; report repairs; undertake fire alarms and pull cord checks; record these activities.Tenancy termination and liaison - Manage tenancy terminations and coordinate with voids, lettings, and contractors.Customer engagement - Engage with residents to support social and wellbeing activities; liaise with care, statutory, and voluntary agencies to ensure accessibility.ASB management - Manage low-level ASB cases per policy; provide guidance to customers reporting ASB.Benefits support - Assist customers to claim Housing Benefit and other welfare benefits to reduce rent arrears and ensure rent is paid on time.Relief coverage - Support colleagues and provide cover at Extra Care Schemes; collaborate with third-party on-site care providers.KPI reporting - Complete KPI returns as outlined in the Support Contract set by Local Authority.More About You
Intermediate MS Office skills and willingness to learn new systems.Experience in a customer-facing role within care and/or support.Proven experience of working with vulnerable people and community groups.Confidence with health and safety basics.Sound working knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practice frameworks.Desirable
Level 3 in Housing or Supported Housing.Health and Safety qualification.Knowledge of welfare benefits like Housing Benefit or UC.Application process
