Why This Role MattersThe Salesforce Technical Lead will be responsible for leading the Technical Design and Architecture for the Christie’s Salesforce implementation. This person will work closely with 3rd party vendor partner to facilitate a successful implementation working closely with the Christie’s Salesforce Product Manager.

This Role will be the key full time position responsible for the technical leadership of the Christie’s Salesforce Implementation. This role will work closely with members of the Architecture and Engineering Teams and will play an important part in the Companies wider CRM Strategy.

This Role will work closely with the Head of Client and Object Systems and the Salesforce Product Manager. The ability to share expertise and knowledge with others and take a Technical Leadership Role is a key part of this position.

Responsibilities

Work with the wider Salesforce team to build, develop, and test solutions

Use industry experience and best practices in Salesforce to solve complex business problems

Partner with the necessary teams to fully understand the business scope and implement sustainable, cost-effective solutions, adhering to the company’s strategic direction and standards

Work with third party and internal teams to ensure coding best practices and development principles are followed

Partners with business liaisons and engineers to translate business requirements into technical requirements

Creates solution, technical designs, process flowcharts, diagrams, and other related documentation

Participants in the design process of new features and enhancements to existing software

Maintains a broad and thorough understanding of current software development techniques, methodologies, tools, and technologies

Proposes, and implements feasible solutions or processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of applications

Diagnoses and solves technical problems related to project implementation and ongoing maintenance

Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software

Analyses end-user needs and designs, tests, and develops software to satisfy demand

Diagnoses issues, evaluates and recommends the best resolution plan and executes against that plan

Experience in interacting and developing custom APIs

Ensures the DevOps process defined is followed

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Adhere to established development standards, guidelines, and methodologies

Works independently or in a team situation to deliver on agreed-upon timelines

Completes role-specific training, and certifications, or attends industry events as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

Educated to Degree Level preferably in Computer Science or related subject

Training and Certification in Salesforce technologies an advantage

6+ years of IS/IT experience with at least 3 years in a Salesforce Technical Role

Should have experience designing and implementing complex Salesforce architectures, including Salesforce integrations with other systems and applications

Sales Cloud, Services Cloud and Financial Services Cloud with a detailed understanding of Data Cloud/Agent Force

Should have a deep understanding of Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Lightning Aura and the Salesforce Standard and Custom API

Understanding of Salesforce Deployment Pipelines and best practises including management of Sandboxes

Should be familiar with Salesforce data management tools and techniques, including data migration, data cleansing, data governance and backup and recovery

Should be knowledgeable in Salesforce administration, including user management, security and permissions

A good understanding of Infrastructure (hardware, software, data, networking)

Able to provide accurate estimates and meet deadlines

Excellent interpersonal skills and strong abilities to develop and enhance relationships with stakeholders and peers

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to produce clear, concise, detailed documentation

Flexible, pragmatic and professional approach, with ability to anticipate problems and work with incomplete information

Able to perform under pressure

Understanding of business drivers

Good problem-solving skills
