Futures is looking to appoint a commercially aware Sales Engineer to join a busy and fast-paced Tendering / Sales Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment, enjoys coordinating across technical and commercial stakeholders, and has a strong eye for detail. You will play a pivotal role in managing and assessing customer Requests for Quotation, ensuring timely, accurate, and competitive responses that support business growth.Roles and Responsibilities:As a Sales Engineer, you will act as the central coordinator within the tendering process. Your primary responsibility will be managing a high-volume mailbox and ensuring all request for quotations are reviewed, assessed, and progressed efficiently.Evaluate all inputs to ensure completeness, accuracy, and commercial viabilityPrepare and issue "quick hit" quotations where applicableMaintain clear communication with internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines are metReview RFQs received from customers via Regional Sales Managers (RSMs)Coordinate internally with the Technical Team to manage design returnsManage and assess supplier quotation returnsEnsure all quotations are returned to customers in a timely and professional mannerThe Ideal CandidateExperience in a Sales Engineering, Tendering, or Technical Sales environmentStrong understanding of RFQ and quotation processesExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of informationHigh attention to ..... full job details .....
