Sales Director

We-are-seeking-an-ambitious,-commercially-driven-Sales-Director-/-Head-of-Sales-to-lead-revenue-growth-for-an-established-or-growing-events-business-specialising-in-the-UK-healthcare-sector.

This-is-an-exciting-opportunity-for-a-senior-sales-professional-with-experience-in-event-sponsorship-who-understands-how-to-build-strong-relationships-with-healthcare-organisations,-pharmaceutical-companies,-medical-technology-businesses-and-other-industry-stakeholders.

You-will-take-ownership-of-the-sales-strategy,-develop-new-sponsorship-opportunities-and-maximise-revenue-across-a-portfolio-of-healthcare-events,-conferences-and-related-commercial-products.

The-successful-candidate-will-combine-strategic-thinking-with-a-hands-on-approach-to-business-development,-leading-from-the-front-to-secure-high-value-sponsorship-agreements,-develop-long-term-client-relationships-and-deliver-sustainable-commercial-growth.

Key-Responsibilities

• Sales-Strategy:-Develop-and-implement-the-overall-sales-strategy-to-achieve-revenue,-profitability-and-growth-targets.
• Sponsorship-Revenue:-Drive-sponsorship,-exhibition,-partnership-and-delegate-related-revenue-across-the-company''s-healthcare-events-portfolio.
• New-Business-Development:-Identify,-target-and-secure-new-commercial-opportunities-with-pharmaceutical-companies,-healthcare-providers,-medical-technology-businesses,-healthcare-suppliers-and-relevant-service-providers.
• Sales-Leadership:-Lead,-motivate-and-develop-the-sales-team,-establishing-clear-objectives,-performance-measures-and-accountability.
• Commercial-Negotiation:-Lead-negotiations-with-senior-decision-makers,-developing-sponsorship-packages-and-bespoke-commercial-proposals-that-deliver-value-for-both-sponsors-and-event-audiences.
• Revenue-Optimisation:-Review-pricing,-sponsorship-inventory-and-sales-processes-to-improve-conversion-rates,-profitability-and-overall-commercial-performance.

Candidate-Requirements

• Proven-experience-in-a-senior-sales-leadership-role,-such-as-Sales-Director,-Head-of-Sales-or-Senior-Sales-Manager.
• A-strong-track-record-of-generating-revenue-through-event-sponsorship.
• Experience-selling-into-the-UK-healthcare-sector,-ideally-working-with-pharmaceutical-companies,-healthcare-technology-providers,-medical-device-businesses-or-healthcare-service-organisations.
• Demonstrable-success-in-winning-new-business,-negotiating-high-value-deals-and-growing-existing-accounts.
• Experience-developing-and-executing-sales-strategies,-managing-pipelines-and-delivering-against-ambitious-revenue-targets.
• Strong-commercial-acumen,-with-the-ability-to-identify-new-revenue-streams-and-translate-market-opportunities-into-sales.
• A-proactive,-entrepreneurial-approach,-with-the-ability-to-operate-strategically-while-remaining-hands-
