On behalf of our client based in Bury St Edmunds, we are looking for a confident and approachable individual to support the day to day running of the business during an exciting phase of expansion. This is a varied role combining customer service, operational coordination, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments. Previous experience in administration, scheduling, or client service would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Responding to client enquiries and assisting with general support
- Managing and dispatching orders in a timely, accurate manner
- Supporting the team with social media content planning
- To be able to provide exceptional customer service
- Coordinating engineer appointments and ensuring necessary materials are arranged
- Handling payments and managing the customer database
- Sales and aftersales of all products
- Identifying and reducing inefficiencies in operational processes
- Supporting with general upkeep and presentation of the workspace
- Maintaining company standards and supporting brand image
- Assisting with business planning activities and KPIs alongside the Office Manager
- Holding keyholder responsibilities
- Strong customer service or administrative experience
- Ability to multitask and stay organised under pressure
- Confident use of IT systems and tools
- Ability to work independently and within a small team
- Knowledge of the local area beneficial
