Safety and Compliance Manager

Pay: 48,000.00 per year Job Description: We are recruiting for an experienced Safety and Compliance Manager to join a large and fast-paced 3PL logistics business. This is a key role covering both warehouse and transport operations, ensuring the business operates safely, legally, and in line with industry standards and best practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust safety, compliance, and operational procedures across the site. They will play a hands-on role in driving a positive safety culture, supporting operational teams, improving driver standards, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and accreditation requirements. Experience with BRC, FORS, and ADR would be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities: Manage safety and compliance across both warehouse and transport operations. Develop, implement, and maintain processes, procedures, and safe systems of work. Ensure the business remains compliant with relevant health and safety, transport, and logistics legislation. Support and maintain compliance with industry standards and accreditations, including BRC, FORS, and ADR, where applicable. Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across warehouse and transport functions.
