Role: SafeSpace Support workerBased: HolbornRate: £14.75ph PAYE or £19 ph umbStart Date: ASAPDuration: Temp until end of December (possible extension subject to funding)Hours: 22.5 hours per week Wednesday to Friday (hybrid)Our client, a specialist charity, are recruiting for a Support Worker to join SafeSpace, a unique London-based service supporting women who have experienced Human Trafficking and/or Modern-Day Slavery.Synopsis of duties:Completing comprehensive needs and risk assessments.Developing, implementing and reviewing individual support plans.Providing practical advice, advocacy and support around housing, welfare benefits and other statutory rights.Supporting women with welfare benefit applications and renewals.Working closely with Police, Immigration, NASS, probation, solicitors, local authorities and other statutory and voluntary agencies.Supporting women with move-on and resettlement into independent accommodation.Providing time-limited resettlement support following move-on.Promoting service user involvement, empowerment and independence.Facilitating appropriate group activities and social events.Maintaining accurate case records, reports and monitoring information.Supporting tenancy sustainment and addressing issues such as neighbour disputes where required.Working positively with colleagues, volunteers and partner agencies.Essential RequirementsExperience of managing a caseloadExperience providing high-quality support to victims/survivors of Human ..... full job details .....
