Road Freight Operator / Account Manager Freight ForwardingLocation - Bolton Salary - Up to £32,000 (Depending on experience) Road Freight Operator / Account Manager to join our energetic office team. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine operational logistics with client account management, offering hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. What you ll do: Coordinate and manage road freight shipments across the UK and Ireland Plan routes, schedule pick-ups and deliveries, and track shipments in real time Liaise with clients, drivers, and freight partners to ensure smooth operations Manage existing customer accounts, providing excellent service and proactive updates Prepare quotes, pricing, and freight documentation for new and existing clients Resolve issues quickly, troubleshoot delays, and provide solutions to meet client expectations Work closely with the operations and customs teams to ensure compliance and efficiency What we re looking for: Previous experience in Road freight, logistics, or account management is preferred but not essential Excellent communication skills confident speaking with clients, drivers, and partners Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Positive, proactive attitude and a true team player Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office, freight management systems) What we offer: -Competitive salary plus performance-related bonuses-Free on-site ..... full job details .....
