European Road Freight ForwarderWarrington 35,000 to 37,000 Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pmAn established international logistics provider is looking for an experienced Freight Forwarder to join its Warrington road-freight team.This is an opportunity to join a stable, well-supported operation with a strong European network and a varied customer base. You will manage shipments from start to finish, giving you genuine ownership rather than handling only one part of the forwarding process.The roleManage domestic, import, export and European cross-trade shipmentsCoordinate day-to-day road-freight operationsArrange UK import customs clearances and export documentationPrepare competitive pricing for customersProvide a responsive, professional service to clientsLiaise with customers, suppliers and overseas partnersManage activity through customer and supplier portalsHandle shipments involving ADR goodsWhat we are looking forA minimum of five years'' European road-freight experiencePrevious experience in a freight-forwarding environmentKnowledge of UK and EU customs proceduresExperience managing European cross-trade movementsFamiliarity with ADR shipmentsStrong communication and customer-service skillsThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA self-motivated and organised approachWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelWhat is on offerSalary of 30,000 to 35,000, depending on experienceMonday-to-Friday working, 9am to 5pm21 days'' annual leave plus bank holidaysA ..... full job details .....
