Rework Technician

Location: WindsorJob title: Rework TechnicianJob type: Full-timeRate: Up to £32,000 per annum depending on experience Hours: Mon to Thurs 07:30 to 16:00 and Fri 07:30 to 12:30 - 37 hours per weekRework Technician Role main responsibilities1. Carry out SMT and through-hole rework, repair and modification activities on electronic assemblies.2. Remove and replace surface-mount components, including fine-pitch devices and BGAs where trainedand authorised.3. Complete engineering changes, customer modifications and product upgrades in accordance withapproved documentation.4. Read and interpret drawings, assembly instructions, schematics and bills of materials.5. Use soldering, rework, inspection and X-ray equipment to complete work to required standards.6. Identify and report quality, process or product issues to support continuous improvement.7. Maintain accurate records and comply with ESD, quality, housekeeping and health and safetyrequirements.8.
