Proactive are urgently recruiting for a Rework Technician to join our client in Uxbridge, UB8.

Role: Rework Technician

Location: Uxbridge (UB8)

Pay Rate:

-14- -15 per hour PAYE or Holiday paid -15.69- -16.81

Umbrella rates -18- -19 per hour

PURPOSE OF JOB

Modification, rework and upgrade of PCB assemblies to IPC 610 Class 3 standard.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 3 years'' experience in PCB production
• Hand soldering IPC 610 Class 3 trained
• Use of fine tools and microscopes
• Computer literate

PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Removal and replacement of a wide variety of SMT components down to 0201 and 01005 dimensions.
• Removal and replacement of a wide variety of SMT and thru-hole IC packages and connectors including DIL, uBGA, BGAs PGAs, QFPs
• Build product according to customer specifications and requirements
• Ensure all work is completed to specified levels of acceptable workmanship.
• Follow company procedures and work instructions at all times.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to the Health and Safety requirements and regulations
• Adhere to the Company IT and Data policy
• Comply with the statutory requirements and regulations and Company requirements
• Carry out any other reasonable request which is for the benefit of the business
• Assist in the training of team members ensuring best practice standards are maintained
