This Revit Design Engineer role sits with a family-owned design-and-build specialist in Winnersh, Wokingham, creating production facilities for food, drink and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Office-based with occasional site visits, the full-time permanent position pays £40,000–£50,000 per annum depending on experience. The engineer will support 8–12 live projects, with roughly 70% of the work covering construction-stage revisions: refining drawings, adding site details and converting client change orders into updated information so site teams work from current, accurate documentation. Revit Design Engineer – Construction Stage

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Location: Winnersh, Wokingham, Berkshire (office-based, with occasional site visits)

They are a family-owned, turnkey design-and-build specialist creating production facilities for food, drink and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Since 2012 they have taken projects from concept through build and handover, so their engineers see their work built, often within weeks.

The role

Once a project is on site, the drawings need to keep pace with the build. You will keep the site teams working from current, accurate information across 8–12 live projects. Around 70% of the role is construction-stage revisions: refining drawings, adding site details and turning client change orders into updated drawings. The remaining 30% is new drawings, including existing layouts, site and traffic management plans and fire strategies.

What you'll do

• Revise architectural, structural and building services drawings quickly and accurately, right first time
• Turn round urgent site requests on the same or next day
• Prioritise your workload by site need and give realistic issue dates
• Coordinate with Contracts Managers, site teams and subcontractors
• Upload revisions to Procore and produce as-built drawings at handover
• Visit sites 2–4 times a month

What you'll bring

• 2+ years' Revit experience on live construction projects, including families and revision control
• Energy, pace and the habit of under-promising and over-delivering
• A practical, solutions-focused mindset
• Clear, proactive communication
• A full UK driving licence
• Food, pharma or industrial experience, or Navisworks, is a plus
