We are seeking a strategically minded and creatively driven Resource Management Lead for Dentsu Creative. This individual will be responsible for overseeing a team of Resource Managers, guiding the planning, allocation, and management of talent across the agency. The role is pivotal in ensuring the optimal blend of skills and people is in place to deliver exceptional creative output for our clients—efficiently, profitably, and with agility.This role reports to the Head of Resource Management UK.Key Responsibilities

Shaping and Transforming the Process for Workforce Planning and Resource Management CapabilityBuild and maintain an advance view of all resourcing needs across the agency based on pipeline, live projects, and growth plansWork closely with Client Leads to understand upcoming client needs before briefs landMaintain a clear view of capacity across Creative, Design, and Strategy — flag risks early and recommend solutionsDefine the right talent mix for our future — internal, freelance, offshore — aligned to commercial and creative prioritiesPoint of contact for conflict resolution as it relates to resource needs, placements, allocations and shiftsPartnering with Client Leads, Discipline Heads, and Delivery Operations to make sure every brief is set up for success — with the right talent, from the right place, at the right time.Collaborate in setting and driving the change journey across all stakeholders.Own the day-to-day resourcing rhythm of the agency — responding to new briefs, reallocating teams, managing clashes and conflictsPartner with Discipline Leaders (Creative, Design, Strategy) to assess briefs and identify the best-fit resourcing approachEnsure seamless collaboration between internal teams, freelancers, and offshore talent to deliver high-quality workContinuously balance creative excellence with efficiency and margin protectionOversee freelance planning and budget across Strategy, Creative, and Design; ensure the right external talent is engaged at the right time, managing cost-effectiveness and quality, while overseeing one direct report in Bulgaria responsible for freelancer onboarding and admin.Oversee and manage relationships with our offshore resource centres (e.g. South Africa, Poland, India)Ensure offshoring solutions are fit-for-purpose, creative-first, and consistently delivering qualityWork closely with our Chief Operations and Product Officer, and Creative Leader to leverage AI and automation tools as part of the resourcing modelDrive adoption of new delivery models where they create more efficient or impactful creative outcomesProvide strategic input into hiring decisions, freelance partnerships, and long-term capacity planningHas HR Management responsibility for 1-3 Resource Managers, Specialists and/or Resource CoordinatorsTalent centricity at the heart of Resource Management

Understands and communicates the impacts (financial, client relationship, skill) of applying one resource over another or removing a resource from workProactively engages with resources, gains meaningful understanding of their skills, experience and aspirations, and identifies the right opportunities for themLeadership

You will partner with the business based on equality, respect and supportYou are an orchestrator who will tap into the collective expertise of the whole of dentsuQualifications and Skills

8+ years of experience in Resource /Talent Management or Business Transformation or Operations Management and/or excellenceExcellent knowledge of HR core concepts and best practicesExperience with financial concepts, practices, and administrationContract management skillsBusiness and commercial acumenComfortable in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment with frequent deadlinesConsultativeExemplary coaching skills. Has the interpersonal influence and credibility to be able to effectively act as a coach and change agent for team and market HRD as well as to help the business embrace business decisions/ initiatives.Excellent influencer who has a clear sense of key stakeholders and can create a compelling case based on analysis/ fact base and can adjust their personal approach to influence change in the business.Action driven, service oriented, self-managed with a high degree of autonomy.Working With Us

This is a permanent roleThe team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements.
