Job Role: Residential Childcare Tutor / Assessor Location: South West England (Covering Plymouth, Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth, Bristol and surrounding areas) Salary: £26,500 £33,500 per annum Qualified IQAs considered from £29,000+ plus car allowance Contract: Permanent, full-time Role Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Residential Childcare Tutor / Assessor to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to learners working towards Residential Childcare qualifications up to Level 5. This hybrid role combines remote delivery with face-to-face learner visits across the South West region, from Plymouth and Portsmouth through to Bristol and the wider West of England area. As a Residential Childcare Tutor / Assessor, you will support learners throughout their qualification journey, helping them develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to succeed within the residential childcare sector. You will manage a caseload of learners, providing personalised support from induction through to completion, ensuring a positive, engaging and compliant learning experience that drives achievement and progression. We are also keen to hear from experienced Residential Childcare professionals, including Deputy Managers, Registered Managers and Senior Practitioners, who are looking to move into training and assessment.
