Resident Liaison Officer (RLO)

Location: Westminster (Central London)

Salary: Up to £37,000

Contract: Permanent

Fortus Recruitment are currently working with a well-established contractor who is looking to recruit a Resident Liaison Officer to join their team on a permanent basis, working on cladding and remediation projects in Westminster (Central London).

The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as the main point of contact for residents throughout the works, ensuring they are kept informed and that any queries or concerns are dealt with professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact for residents throughout cladding and remediation works.
• Keep residents informed of project progress, upcoming works and any potential disruption.
• Arrange appointments and coordinate access to properties.
• Respond to resident queries, concerns and complaints in a professional manner.
• Carry out resident visits and provide regular updates.
• Liaise with site teams, contractors and project managers to ensure works run smoothly.
• Support vulnerable residents and help minimise disruption during the works.
• Maintain accurate records of resident communication, appointments and issues raised.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer.
• Experience working on cladding, remediation, external works or construction projects would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Confident dealing with residents, including handling difficult conversations.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work alongside site teams and manage a varied workload.
• A professional, approachable and proactive attitude.
• A driving licence is ideal.
