This position entails overseeing research and development initiatives, ensuring our products meet the highest quality and performance standards, all while fostering a collaborative work environment. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with good leadership skills who is ready to contribute to the mission of sustainable protein production.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the daily operations of the process and applications laboratory.Coordinate technical development projects related to plant-based proteins.Develop and optimise processes for protein extraction and formulation.Collaborate with product development teams to create innovative applications of our proteins in food and beverage products.Conduct studies on sensory evaluation, nutritional analysis, and product performance.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality standards.Prepare and present technical reports and findings to stakeholders.Supervise, mentor, and train laboratory staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Stay updated on industry trends, scientific advancements, and competitive landscapes in plant-based nutrition.SkillsStrong leadership ability in managing NPD projects with production teams.Creative and innovative approach to product and application technical development.Proven ability to demonstrate technical product benefits at a high level.Excellent communication and presentation skills.RequirementsBachelor''s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.5-8 years of experience in a technical development laboratory, ideally with proteins or plant-based nutritional ingredients.In-depth knowledge of food processing, sensory evaluation, and nutrition.Familiarity with relevant food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.Practical experience with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques.Why It''s Great to Work HereJoining this company means becoming part of a passionate and dynamic team dedicated to advancing sustainable plant-based nutrition.
