Research and Development Associate 2Location: BracknellPay Rate: 13.68 per hourContract Length: 12 monthsAbout the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Plant/Seed Production Technician to join a busy Technical Support Team based in Bracknell. This role is responsible for the day-to-day production and maintenance of plant and seed materials under glasshouse conditions, supporting experimental screening programmes to a high standard. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in plant biology and horticulture to develop technical skills in a regulated, science-led environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out day-to-day production and maintenance of plant/seed materials to a standard that meets customer requirements, promptly highlighting any problems or issues.Work both independently and collaboratively within a team to carry out experimental work using established and novel screening methods.Maintain plants under glasshouse conditions for the full duration of each test.Liaise closely with other members of the Technical Support Team to ensure consistently high levels of customer support and satisfaction.Develop technical knowledge and skills through hands-on experience across a wide range of production techniques.Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and contribute to problem-solving in consultation with team members and supervisors.Accurately maintain records and keep databases up to date.Bring a continuous improvement mindset, ..... full job details .....
