RE Teacher Salary: On Pay Scale Location: Ilford, London Borough of Redbridge Job Type: Full-time We are inviting applications for the position of RE Teacher at our dynamic all-through academy located in the Ilford area. This role welcomes both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced educators. Our academy, which includes over 3000 students aged 11 to 18, provides a supportive environment conducive to professional growth. Day-to-day of the role: Develop and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons aligned with the curriculum to secondary school students. Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes understanding and respect for various religious and cultural perspectives. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual student needs. Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance interdisciplinary learning experiences. Participate actively in departmental meetings, contributing to curriculum development and resource improvement. Engage with the school community through extracurricular activities and special events. Required Skills and Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a closely related field. Experience in teaching RE at the secondary level is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
