Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Business Studies Teacher for a mainstream secondary school with a sixth form in Bushey, near Watford.

The school offers GCSE Business and A-level Business. We''re looking for a teacher who can bring the subject to life through practical examples, build pupils'' confidence and develop their understanding of business decisions.

Your responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons.

• Make topics such as enterprise, marketing and finance accessible and relevant.

• Assess learning, mark work and provide clear feedback.

• Develop pupils'' analytical skills and exam technique.

• Adapt teaching for different abilities, including pupils with SEND.

• Maintain consistent classroom expectations and work closely with department colleagues.

We''re looking for:

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Strong Business Studies subject knowledge.

• Knowledge of the GCSE Business curriculum; A-level teaching experience would be an advantage.

• Effective classroom management and a clear, engaging teaching style.

• Availability to start ASAP.
