• Pay: £12.50 per hourWe are seeking a Relief Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in South Shields. You will play a key role in providing compassionate support to adults with learning disabilities within a 7-bedroom respite short break service. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives.Responsibilities

Tend to all aspects of daily living, including personal careDomestic duties (cooking, cleaning, maintaining the home)Support with budgeting and financesSocial support and engagement in community activitiesFamily support, assisting families in maintaining relationshipsMedication supportLiaison with health and social care professionals to ensure holistic careIn-house and out-of-house activities, including outings and interestsWhat We''re Looking For

Interest in mental health and learning disabilitiesResilient and open-minded with a non-judgmental approachAbility to assist with personal care, domestic tasks, and community supportAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to undergo an enhanced DBS checkQualifications and Training
