As an experienced Private Banker with a proven track record in building and managing high-net-worth client relationships. Comply with Regulatory and AML policies with sanctions screening, PEP activity, large value transactions, and high-risk country monitoring. Perform further investigations to ensure activity aligns with CDD/KYC protocols. Liaise with OPS, MLRO and senior management on significant exceptions.Coordinate across departments to deliver high-quality services, notably between Treasury, Settlement and OPS.Process all mortgage applications in a compliant manner, accurately and right first time.Maintain up-to-date customer files, including periodic reviews to assess the adequacy of presented documentation and KYC information.Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations by enrolling in workshops, training courses and/or obtaining relevant certifications.Inform customers of changes to terms of reference relating to their accounts and services where possible.Fulfill customer requests such as transfers, cash orders, cheque books, cash deposits and enquiries.Meet all customer and performance KPIs.Assist in formulating appropriate business strategy and budget for RM activities/PB department.Serve as point of contact for JIB customers.Escalate risk matters to appropriate senior managers.Undertake other ad hoc tasks as required.Experience Required
Up-to-date knowledge of AML regulations (JMLSG, FCA rules, 3rd EU Money Laundering Directive, The Money Laundering Regulations).Certified role.Arabic written and spoken (preferred).Working knowledge of day-to-day banking activities.Good knowledge of the bank’s core operating systems.Strong communication skills with colleagues and customers.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.What we offer
