Relationship Director – Corporate Lending, NorthAre you ready to step out of the red tape and into a role where you can make faster decisions, structure creative deals, and build real partnerships with clients?Our client, a high-growth asset finance business is looking for a Relationship Director to originate, develop, and manage relationships with mid-market and corporate clients. Unlike the big banks, you’ll have the autonomy to shape lending solutions that truly fit your clients’ needs – with quicker decision-making, fewer layers of sign-off, and the chance to see the direct impact of your work.We’re looking for someone who thrives on building long-term, profitable client relationships and who wants to play a visible role in driving growth. You’ll work with a mix of warm leads from banking partnerships as well as originate your own business.What you’ll be doing:Building and managing relationships with mid-market and corporate clients, becoming a trusted advisor at senior level.Identifying opportunities, originating new business, and delivering tailored asset finance and lending solutions.Structuring and presenting credit proposals – you’ll need strong analytical skills and the ability to understand your customers financial position to craft compelling, well-balanced cases.Taking ownership of a portfolio and driving growth through both new and existing client relationships.Working closely with colleagues across the business to deliver exceptional client service.What we’re looking for:Background in corporate banking, mid-market lending, or asset finance with proven success in origination and relationship management.Strong credit analysis and structuring skills – you know how to assess risk and spot opportunity.Ability to influence and negotiate at C-suite level, with a track record of delivering commercial results.Entrepreneurial mindset – comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environmentCompensation:Competitive base salary, uncapped bonus scheme, car allowance and electric car scheme, opportunity to buy annual leave.Seniority level
