This role involves a significant contribution to one of the UK''s most crucial infrastructure investment programmes, focusing on major electricity transmission investment applications. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-profile projects that are pivotal to the UK''s energy transition.Day-to-day of the role:Review and conduct quality assurance checks on major infrastructure investment and funding submissions.Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas of non-compliance in applications and supporting evidence.Carry out initial assessments of business cases and investment proposals.Draft questions and information requests for applicant organisations.Prepare handover packs and assessment summaries for the Investment Determinations Team.Assess costs, benefits, and investment rationale while reviewing commercial assumptions and supporting evidence.Support benchmarking and comparative analysis activities and contribute to evidence-based decision support materials.Capture lessons learned from previous assessment rounds and help improve assessment frameworks, templates, and guidance.Engage with electricity transmission companies, support workshops, meetings, and ..... full job details .....
