This

field-based nursing role

involves delivering one-to-one care to children and young people in their homes, schools, and community settings. Clinical responsibilities include

IV infusions, intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, home parenteral nutrition (HPN/TPN),

and other interventions.

A vital part of the role is

educating and supporting families and young patients , empowering them to manage treatments safely and independently.

Working as part of a wider team who look after 100,000 patients each year , you will be mainly working solo for most of your time. On average our

Registered Nurse will see 1 3 patients in their homes each day , however these may be spread out across the region so you will need to be prepared for the driving to each location.

Registered Nurse Requirements

Registered Nurse (NMC-registered and valid pin)Full UK driving licenceFlexibility and resilience for community-based workAbility to work independently and manage a caseload effectivelyDisplay a high level of care and empathy to help our patients achieve their goals and regain their independence.well-organised and comfortable managing your own workload and itineraryBasic IT skills are requiredExtensive travelling will be required between patients, so a full UK driving license is essential. (Your working day includes the travel to and from your patients)
