Type: Permanent, full-time
Salary: -35,000- -39,000 (depending on experience)
About the role:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to join our team at our residential care home in Weston-super-Mare. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring the highest quality of care is provided to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the care home, including managing staff, scheduling, and budgeting.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including CQC guidelines.Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders.Create and implement care plans, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated.Manage and maintain accurate records and reports.Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training and support to staff members.Monitor and maintain the health and safety of the care home, residents, and staff.Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for residents.Handle any complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.Continuously strive to improve the quality of care and services provided.Requirements:
NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a care home setting.Strong leadership and management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of CQC regulations and standards.Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.Passion for providing high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities.Benefits:
