People House Recruitment is supporting the appointment of a Registered Manager for a newly developing children''s residential home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation and play a key role in the registration, setup, and ongoing development of a new children''s home. Applications are welcomed from both experienced Registered Managers and ambitious Deputy Managers seeking progression into a Registered Manager position. Key Responsibilities Lead the registration and development of a new children''s residential home Ensure compliance with Children''s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards Provide strong safeguarding and child-centred leadership Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing staff team Oversee care planning, risk management, and placement stability Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections Develop policies, procedures, and operational systems Build positive relationships with local authorities and external professionals Essential Requirements Registered Manager Applicants Minimum 2 years'' experience as a Registered Manager within children''s residential care Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards) Strong knowledge of Children''s Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and safeguarding requirements Experience preparing for and managing Ofsted inspections Sound understanding of relevant Children''s Acts, ..... full job details .....
