Regional Technical Services Manager

Equans is looking for a Regional Technical Services Manager to join the team in Bristol on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.The Regional Technical Services Manager will cover Bristol, Dudley and Oxford.To work closely with the Operations Manager, Contract Manager and Technical Administrators to ensure that every building under the contractual umbrella is fully compliant with our statutory maintenance obligations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring each site remains 100% compliant, by ensuring all works are carried out at the correct intervals, to the correct standard, and that all corrective works are carried out within the given timescales, with paperwork kept up to date and audit-ready.The contract consists of 1 Community Hospital and 9 Health Centres across Bristol, Dudley and Oxford, and are comprised of PFI contracts. The role is primarily based in Bristol; however travel to other areas in Dudley and Oxford will be required.Responsibilities
Managing all compliance across Health Care Portfolio (HTM knowledge desirable)Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring their satisfactionEnsuring adherence to all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policiesProvide technical guidance and advice to wider teamEnsuring corrective works are carried out within correct timescalesEnsuring works are carried out at the correct intervals, to the correct and most current relevant standardsAssist and lead periodic audits and inspections to ensure the contract is fully compliant, oversee the NCR management processMaintenance and upkeep of the contract compliance trackerIdentifying opportunities for business growth and contributing to the development of new contracts and tendersMonitoring service performance, analysing data, and implementing improvements to optimize service deliveryUpdate teams with any relative legislation changesConduct reviews of tenders both going out and being returned to ensure correct working practices are being specified and adopted for maintenance contracts, projects and lifecycle worksEnsure PPM job plans are correct and in line with the most current legislationsUpdate CAFM system where requiredCarry out ad hoc training sessions where requiredConduct subcontractor reviews and auditsConduct management safety visits and audits on Premises Managers and Mobile Technicians to ensure safe and compliant working practicesLead on audits and completion of actions effectivelyWhat can we offer you?

Mechanical / Electrical qualification or equivalent (Essential)Prior experience working in a Hard FM Services environment (Healthcare desirable)Be able to demonstrate knowledge of all elements of statutory and mandatory compliancePossess excellent technical knowledge and abilityHave excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be self-motivated and pro-activeGood organisational skills and the ability to work to agreed timescalesAbility to analyse problems, identify solutions, and make sound decisionsPossess good attention to detail and the ability to work to a high-standardGood IT literacy essentialNEBOSH preferred but not essentialMust be competent and willing to take on AP roles where requiredThis role includes a DBS Basic check therefore ability to pass is essential.Who are we?
