Our client is seeking an organised and proactive Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator to join their team at their Motherwell office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous recruitment or HR administration experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
Working closely with hiring managers and the HR team, you will coordinate the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring vacancies are filled efficiently while providing a seamless experience for candidates from application through to their first day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy approval to offer stage.
- Draft and advertise vacancies across a range of job boards and recruitment platforms.
- Screen applications and arrange interviews with hiring managers.
- Act as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Prepare offer letters, contracts of employment and all new starter documentation.
- Manage pre-employment compliance checks, including references, right to work documentation and other relevant screening.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, ensuring new starters have the equipment, system access and induction arrangements in place before joining.
- Maintain accurate records on HR and recruitment systems, ensuring GDPR compliance at all times.
- Produce recruitment reports and provide regular updates to hiring managers.
- Build positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external recruitment partners.
- Support employee induction programmes and probation review processes.
- Assist with wider HR administration and projects as required.
- Previous experience within a recruitment, onboarding, HR or recruitment administration role.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and approachable manner.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and HR or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- A sound understanding of recruitment processes and pre-employment compliance checks.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a wider team.
