Your new company A nationally recognised provider of recovery and support services is seeking an experienced Recovery Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis. The organisation supports individuals affected by drug and alcohol use to make positive, lasting changes, promoting recovery, resilience and social reintegration within local communities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated multidisciplinary team and play a vital role in supporting people through their treatment and recovery journey.Your new role As a Recovery Coordinator, you will act as the main point of contact for a caseload of service users, supporting them from initial assessment through to recovery planning and ongoing reviews. You will coordinate tailored packages of support, work closely with partner agencies and clinicians, and help individuals achieve meaningful and sustainable recovery outcomes.Key responsibilities will include:Managing a caseload of service users and acting as their lead care coordinator.Completing comprehensive assessments, recovery plans, risk assessments and regular reviews.Using motivational interviewing techniques to support service users in achieving their recovery goals.Coordinating access to treatment, psychosocial interventions, group programmes and community support services.Promoting harm reduction initiatives, including overdose prevention, blood-borne virus awareness and wider health education.Working closely with prescribing clinicians, healthcare ..... full job details .....
