About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a professional and customer-focused Receptionist & Administration Assistant to join a busy facilities and workplace services team based in East Lothian.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual who enjoys working in a front-facing role, providing exceptional customer service while supporting the day-to-day administration of a busy site.
Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome visitors and provide information, guidance, and signposting both in person and remotely.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared for use.
  • Answer, screen, and redirect incoming telephone calls.
  • Maintain a tidy, professional, and welcoming reception area.
  • Provide administrative support to the wider site team.
  • Support office security processes, including controlling building access and following site procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple departments to deliver a high-quality service.
  • Carry out general administrative duties as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous experience in a Receptionist, Front of House, Customer Service, or Administrative position.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience using general office equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A professional and approachable manner.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • The ability to work proactively and resolve issues effectively.
  • A genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
