About the roleAs Reception Teacher, you will lead the learning and development of your Reception class, planning and delivering a rich, play-based curriculum that reflects the EYFS statutory framework and Development Matters guidance.You will create a safe, stimulating and language-rich classroom environment where children feel secure and ready to learn. Systematic synthetic phonics sits at the heart of the school''s early reading programme, and you will deliver this with confidence and consistency.You will work closely with your teaching assistant, the wider EYFS team and the SENCO to ensure all children - including those with SEND and EAL - are well supported, making strong progress from their individual starting points.Transition arrangements, parental engagement and accurate assessment and record-keeping are all key parts of this role, and the school will expect you to approach these with care and professionalism.What we are looking forQualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essentialSolid experience in a Reception or Nursery setting within a primary schoolStrong knowledge ..... full job details .....
