About the roleAs Reception Teacher, you will take ownership of your class and lead the delivery of a rich, engaging early years curriculum rooted in play-based learning, the EYFS statutory framework and Development Matters.You will foster a warm, language-rich classroom environment where children feel safe and inspired to explore and develop across all seven areas of learning. Systematic synthetic phonics underpins the school''s early reading approach, and your confidence in delivering this consistently will be key.Working alongside your teaching assistant and the wider EYFS team, you will carry out ongoing assessment, maintain accurate learning journeys and contribute to transition planning.
