Job Title: Senior Social Worker - Mental Health Location: The Civic Offices, Bridge Street, Reading, RG1 2LU Contract: Locum Hybrid Rate: 40 per hourAbout the Role: Eden Brown Synergy is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join Reading Borough Council''s Mental Health Social Care Team. This role involves delivering high-quality, strengths-based assessments, care planning, and interventions for adults with complex mental health needs. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary partners, including NHS mental health services, to provide person-centred support that promotes recovery, independence, and safeguarding.The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, undertake statutory duties under the Care Act, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act, and provide supervision and guidance to less experienced staff where required.
