Reactive Works Manager - Commercial MandE and Building Fabric

We are recruiting for a successful, family-owned hard FM main contractor offering a friendly, close-knit working environment where individual contribution is recognised and valued.They are looking for a highly organised and proactive Reactive Works Manager to coordinate commercial MandE and building-maintenance works. This is a fast-paced, predominantly office-based role involving extensive use of MS-Office applications, regular communication with clients, subcontractors and in-house operatives, together with occasional site visits to inspect and survey prospective works.DutiesReceiving and assessing client maintenance requestsPreparing quotations and obtaining subcontractor pricesCoordinating reactive works from instruction through to completionKeeping clients informed and resolving issues promptlyArranging subcontractors, operatives, access and materialsMonitoring live jobs, reports and completion documentationVisiting sites when surveys or inspections are requiredWorks will be to; commercial plant rooms, boilers, pumps, plumbing, gas testing, air conditioning, legionella works, electrical repairs, roofing, decorating, flooring and general building-fabric maintenance.The personYou will need previous experience in commercial MandE, reactive maintenance, minor works or facilities management.
