RandD Engineer

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an RandD Engineer on behalf of our client based in Saffron Walden on a Permanent basis. Roles and Responsibilities Research and review Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) to identify new component repair capabilities. Extract and document technical information, including tooling requirements, test procedures, repair processes, materials and consumables. Complete capability application forms and submit technical information through the company''s internal system. Identify and record relevant part numbers to ensure accurate capability submissions. Support the development of new repair processes, tooling solutions and test equipment. Provide technical support and repair guidance to production teams. Work alongside the RandD Manager to prioritise and manage capability development projects. Ensure all new repair capabilities comply with regulatory and company quality standards. Design, fabricate and develop tooling and test kits to support production. Experience, Skills and Qualifications Background in aerospace engineering or aircraft component maintenance. Practical engineering experience within an aerospace environment. Experience with Part-145 repairs is highly desirable. Familiarity with Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) and technical engineering documentation. Hands-on experience with electronics fabrication, including the ability to build test boxes. Strong technical analysis, research and problem-solving skills. ..... full job details .....
