Job summary: This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the Radiotherapy and Proton Beam Therapy (PBT) team at UCLH. The post holder will provide comprehensive quality administrative support, work with the radiotherapy services quality team to maintain the quality management system, form strong working relationships with team leads, undertake departmental audits, service evaluation, quality improvement projects, organise meetings and record minutes. They will also assist with data entry onto clinical systems, run reports and collate and analyse data. The post holder will review performance data, trends and processes to identify opportunities for development and improvement. The role is based in the PBT department in the new Grafton Way Building.Main duties
The postholder will provide full and comprehensive administrative support to the Radiotherapy/PBT Quality Manager to ensure effective implementation of the radiotherapy department quality system, supporting safe and high-quality patient care. They will work closely with staff across Radiotherapy, PBT, Radiotherapy Physics and other departments, forming strong working relationships with team leads and undertaking delegated duties. The post holder will liaise with internal and external staff across the Trust and with partner organisations, and support the overall quality management system under the oversight of the services quality manager.About us

To provide full administrative support to the Radiotherapy/PBT Quality Manager.To actively maintain the ISO 9001:2015 Quality System and to undertake internal quality system audits, clinical audits and service evaluation.To support the department in times of inspection, external audit or accreditation.To support the Cancer Division Audit Programme, undertaking audits and supporting the designated clinical audit lead to deliver this.To support the Macmillan Information and Support Radiographers in the development and production of departmental patient information leaflets and booklets.To assist with data entry onto clinical systems, including planning database, ARIA data input, and running reports from departmental databases, ARIA and Epic.To run reports and collate data to monitor Key Performance Indicators as required within service specifications, reviewing performance data and using analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.To participate in tracking and monitoring compliance against relevant national targets.To prepare quality reports for presentation at meetings within the Trust, radiotherapy network meetings, NHSE level meetings and with the PBT private provider.For the full Person Specification and more information regarding the main responsibilities of this role, please refer to the attached Job Description.Person Specification
